That's fine Dynamite. I'll be around. It's a very nice mod, but there are a few perceived obstacles that really are not that big as you may think when tackling the job. Probably the biggest pain is driving out the original stem which I made a special driver for so that I would't ruin it on the way out. Lots of guys have it pressed out, which is a very good way to go. one very important note that someone else mentioned is that the stem must be driven toward the wheel axel because of it's design.
One thing that I would have added to the new stem is a slot cut in it for the neck lock to work like the factory stem, but it's not a big loss since I never really used it anyhow.
That looks awesome! How does it handle? Ed, please post more pics!
Thanks! Handles better than before. Front-end is not as heavy as before. I also have the Burley Springer lowing Kit installed. Bike is level and is 4 inches off the ground.

Thanks! I used the OEM fender and fender mount. I just cut the fender mount on the sides and added almost an inch to it.
After following this thread I pulled the trigger and installed this on my 08' bones. I absolutely love the look it gave to the bike! The front end has a much lighter feel to it, and after a few mile adjustment period it felt natural. Now for the bad part, at about 95mph i encountered a death wobble which i was thankfully able to recover from.i dont normally ride that fast and have probably only had the bike at that speed a cpl of times. I am not sure if this is something that can be fixed,or if there was something done wrong on the install, or if it is just the nature of the bike with kit installed.Any ideas?
