Default Model ??

I'm looking for a little clarification on model differences.
I have a 1994 FXSTC.
So FX is ??
ST is softail
C is custom
When I'm looking for aftermarket parts I see a lot that fit FXST
What's the difference between a Custom,Standard,Deuce?
At what point should I be concerned with a part not fitting correctly because it says it fits a FXST?
Thanks,
Pete

FX from what I've gathered means the bike has Forward/Mid controls, as opposed to FL which has floorboards.

FX is a skinny 19 or 21" wheel.

FL is a 16" wider tire front end

The main concern on parts fitting is the difference between an evo and a twin cam.

84-99 Evo years are for the most part compatible
00-06 TC years are for the most part compatible.

There are plenty of exceptions to both
