Installed mine today. Used the straps, didn't tape the frame (yet). I just wanted to get the bag on the bike to get a feel for how it's gonna be now that I'm lower in the rear. I wound up taking off the plastic lower belt guard cause it looked like it was gonna rub the pulley, and didn't want to keep fighting to get that bolt back in in the rear. Might do the hard mount like a few others have mentioned in this thread. Not to worried about it right now though as I have other projects laying around that need to be done.

With no tape to protect your paint it won't take long at all to scar it up..
