question about 01 flstc rear sprocket

I was riding yesterday and had to stop because i heard some clanging sound, I noticed the side of my rear sprocket had fallen off....? is that a pressure fit or did I lose something else? any help would be appreciated.

Need more information; are you referring the rear wheel drive pulley? Pics would be helpful.

yes I am referring to the rear wheel pulley, I cant get pics on here at the moment but i will try to post some this week. to try and describe it better, its like the right side of the pulley which would cover the right side of the belt as it is on the pulley, fell off so there is like a flat ring as big as the pulley that is just rattling around and the side of the belt and the teeth in the pulley are exposed. I dont know if that explination will help at all but as soon as I get back home from vacation i will post a pic if still needed. thanks!
