Took a ride yesterday after returning from a 2 week vacation. Bike ('91 FLSTC) wasn't on the tender but started up just fine. Rode to get gas...started fine. Rode to meet the boys...started fine...went for breakfast with the boys...started fine. Rode 75 miles or so returned home an parked in the driveway. Went to move the bike into the garage...WON'T START!

There's a little corrosion on one terminal but everything is tight.

Obviously a charging problem but what??

 

get some sprite and clean the connections....had this happen to a friend of mine too

 

Could be a bad cell in the battery.

 

also check the kill switch.

 

time to break out the meter and see if its charging.
