I'm considering a quick detach windshield for my 2002 Night Train so I can extend my riding season up here in the Northeast well into the winter. I have the HD tach mounted on my stock NT drag bars w/ stock risers. Does anyone know if the quick detach windshield will clear the tach, I would hate to pick up the shield only to have it hit the tach. Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't think it will get in the way, that windshield kinda sits a little forward when it is mounted,
I have one for my Train 06, and am sure glad i got it, although I don't care for how it looks.
Mainly use it when the wife rides, or when it is very chilly.
Does that tach fit in front (forward of the bars or behind)?
I think you have plenty of room, remember you have lots of room to install a leather windshield bag if you didn't have the tach. I think the windshield is a great idea for you. Its a safety factor in the NW. Lots of rocks on the road in the spring, bugs and other stuff flying up to hit you in the face.
