Looking at this for wifey's new FB
so I am on the forum looking for some input
I can hear the sound clips on line so I am not worried about that, my question is really looking at the ceramic coated inner pipes
Does it really knock down the temps of the exhaust?
for those of you that have it and have had other TC motors or get a chance to ride friends bikes, is it a noticeable difference?
thanks in advance
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The coating is on complete system, not just the slip-ons
If U go with the whole system,, then yes there claim is a 300* drop in the header pipes temp.
We got the rush pipes in and put them on right before Biketoberfest
Man do they look good, sound good and did they ever knock down the temps that the wife feels on her leg
The pipes went on without a hitch, very easy directions, and thanks to my buddy that has the harbor freight motorcycle lift it was very easy to work on
Only small thing we found wrong was that one of the tips was drilled incorrectly, so we could only mount them with the slash cuts facing downward together, one quick call to RUSH and the new tip arrived and is now installed with both slash cuts facing outward
I will upload pics in a bit, but WOW what a difference and as I stated earlier these were like $320 shipped from the place I got them and they had like 700 sets in stock
We went with the full system, crossover 7020sl , which was the slash cut tips
They sound amazing, great product, great quality, great customer service!
I love the fact that you can call Rush and talk with someone who knows what they're talking about. It's been my experience that they know more about Harleys than the dealerships.
I can only speak about the slipons I installed last week. The chrome finish is impecable & you can feel the quality when you pick one up. A superior product IMO. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...s-love-em.html
