YES!! It does work. I was sceptical at first, but am a believer now. I think rush claims 300 degree difference and they may be right. My Fatboy with stock head pipes and rush slip ons snapped and popped for 5 minutes every time I shut it off. The new Crossovers do none of that, and the heat shields are only slightly warmer than the engine case.

You will get at least a 300 deg temp reduction directly on the pipe. We fully coat the inside of the pipe, not just the ends. This is standard on all of our full systems and head pipes. Good luck on the price hunt, there are many great shops in your area.
We have a "Ride on Us" policy for all of our full systems. If you are not satisfied with the system, you can return it within 10 days for a full refund. If interested please call us to find a participating dealership. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/rush-...promotion.html

from my understanding there is a small pipe that connects the top tube to the bottom tube giving you an equalization and better performance for stock motors

Correct again. The crossover system is my personal favorite. Another system to check out is our 2:1. The performance is on par with the best 2:1 systems out there and it uses our slip on muffler baffle design so it has the deep solid Harley sound.
