I'm trying to get the things together to put 14" apes on my 08 flstc. I ran across Hill Country Customs and the kits they offer. Also noticed that they have Wild1's and have read on here that they will substitute the Wild1 bars for their kits. I would prefer to get the wild1's because they have more pull back BUT while reading wild1's site they seem to imply that HCC does not sell authentic wild1 chubby bars. I wouldn't mind buying the things I need else where but I have no idea what length cables I need or about how much wire I have to add so I don't really know what or were to order it. Was also wanting to make sure that the Wild1's are predrill for internal wires. I can't seem to locate that on either the Wild1 site or on HCC.
Not sure about the "official" W1 aspect ...but I purchased 16's prewired and I had nothing but good things to say about the quality and customer service I got from HCC. Do a search and you will find many have had good experiance with them. Price wise they were the best deal for me. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...lled-pics.html
They come predrilled. They will also pull the wire and even put the factory plug on if you want. I would give them a call...just so you will have all the info you can before spending any big money.
Good luck with whatever you get.

I wound up ordering directly from Wild1, HCC has a great reputation but it seemed to me that the pre-wired kits had too much slack in them, as if they wanted to be sure they weren't too short, so I had my cables measured as well. But Drew can hook you up for sure.
The 14" Wild1 Chubbys ROCK on a Heritage. I love mine!
For the last month I have been going back and forth over apes sorta like going ape..... but I ended up going with carlini's evil apes. But I looked high and low and HCC seems to have a good deal there and the quality I hear is good too.
