Default Heritage Windshield Mod

Does anyone know if there is a way to get my windshield to tilt back toward me a little on the heritage. It looks like I could do some grinding on the bracket that is attached to the shield to get it to come back toward me.

Anyone ever done anything like that or is there an aftermarket bracket I could purchase?

Thanks for any info...

I've often wondered that. I don't see a way.
If you look at RoadKing, the windshield is angled back more.
I think it would eleminate some of that buffeting from down
below. I've thought about betting am old style (pre 99) and solid mounting
it. Those you can adj height & angle (more better)
I'm running the Harley 3" shorter tinded with the chrome lowers. It works pretty good. Looking thru that stk height one was wierd. On a long trip though . . . The tall one goes back on.

Never thought about this but it might be a good idea. I have not looked at mine in a bit since I have it off for the hot weather, but thinking it may be possible to shim under the lower part of the detachable bracket? (between the bracket and the windshield) I suppose it would depend on how much angle you want to introduce.

I thought that maybe a person could grind the slot at the top or bottom out deeper to get it to angle back a bit (where the shield attaches to the rubber grommets). Keep in mind I haven't looked real close at it, but thought that might be a way to do it.
My shield seems to stand straight up and I do have to look through mine. I thought if I could angle it back a bit, I would be able to see over it better.
