I noticed a little wobble that I thought was from wind the other day. I cleaned up my bike and was cleaning the back wheel and notice I threw a wheel weight. Got it rebalanced and it went away.

Ya know, I'm wondering if the previous owner who put FB wheels on it put in the right spacers. Something to check when the wheel balance is checked.

Well after riding it for a few months now, I've come to to the conclusion that the Fatboy front wheel catches the wind. I like the looks of the FB wheel, but I will likely change it to something that will pass air. Now if I can only find something more interesting than the stock Heritage wheel.

from what i've read around here the fatboy rim/wind pushing is nothing more then a myth. i've ridden in some 30+ wind gusts and never had the bars pulled out of my hands. the whole bike would get pushed around, but what doesn't get pushed around in heavy cross winds.

if you only feel the "wobble" in traffic, i would consider it nothing more then normal buffetting. Sometimes i would i would rather be behind a semi then certain vehicles. For me, besides a tanker semi with all its different surfaces for air to move around, a chevy truck is about the worst to be behind. i haven't figured out what it is about a chevy, but i know they move me around more then a ford or dodge truck.. like i said i dunno.. maybe its all in my head.

I've seen some of the real square SUV's have some bad air comming off them, I would try going up on the air pressure a couple pounds and see if it helps, I know if my tires are a few pounds off it doesn't feel right. Just don't hold the bars too tight either as it will make it worse

I have to go with this comment to some degree. I hate being right behind 18 wheelers, towed RVs, and similar vehicles. It definitely gets squirrelly back there because of the way the winds vorteces work. I either back off and give them more room or pass them as soon as possible.

I have owned a Dyna and a my current Fatboy. I have to say the fatboy wheel blow in the wind is real. Anytime it is windy my bike is all over the place. My Dyna never did that at all. It is bad enough sometimes it looks like I am leaning over when I am actually going straight. The people I ride with have noticed it too. I will get some Ride Wrights when my tire warranty is up.

Not true! I have a fat boy with no issues. Also, even spoke wheels become solid at cruising speeds. I promise this isn't your problem.
