Question Any suggestions for a TACH / shift light for crossbones??

I don't see a bracket listed for a crossbones through hd,, assuming the headlight would be in the way.. any suggestions on a tach/shift light for my crossbones? i need a shift light... or I would just get one of the 2 speedo options with tachs in them, but they have no light.. the older one with the huge tach would prob be my best option,, the newer one with the little tach has more options, but tach is very hard to see...

I did search and found nothing for a crossbones,, thanks all!!

I have a tach on my 97 Heritage springer. Light, risers etc is the same as the crossbones. The bracket for the bars fits fine. The light is not in the way.

Default When to shift on a 6speed TC harley

Fine if U want a tack but U really don't need one..

Night rider has a calculator that all U do is put in Ur gear ratio and it will print out Ur SPEED vs RPM's I.ve put it in a bunch of time several yrs ago for softail owners.

Normal riding I ride at the speed below.
I add a Zero to each gear. except 1st and 2nd for normal riding
1st is 15mph -- 1800 rpm's--
2nd is 25mph --2200 ''
3rd is 30mph -- 2000 ''
4th is 40mph --2200 ''
5th is 50mph -- 2200 ''
6th is 60 mph --2300 ''

When I wind it out...
At 5400 rpm's U speed is 42, 61, 83, 101, 121, ????
So If U shift at 40, 60, 80, 100, 120. U'll be pretty well wound out

If U want to print out the whole sheet like I have, here there site, just fill in the info and U can print out the whole page.

I use the micro tach from speedway. Only two digits but it lights up well.

One of the menu options on the odometer screen is a digital tach. Just keep hitting the "trip" button until you see GEAR/RPM scroll across the screen - it'll then read out your RPM while you ride.

I have that one on my Night Train. It is bright (but the light is adjustable) and the shift lite can be set where you want it. I have my shift light set at 5500 rpm as that is the peak on my torque curve. Works great and has held up well even after it had gotten rained on a couple of times.

Here's a pic of it on the bike.

That must be for the newer ones. I don't have that feature...
