I'm looking for some detachable saddlebags for my 07 standard. If I'm going to get them I want the biggest that will fit. What are you guys running for your softies??

I put a set of bags from Leather Pros on my 02 Standard last year. They mount up solidly, they are very roomy and they LOCK. I was so please with them that I also ordered one of their trunks and mounted it on a removable rack. It also locks. Just got back from a 4200 mile trip and couldn't be more pleased. They aren't cheap, but they are worth it!

Got a set of saddleman bags off ebay with quick disconnect (I ended up just bolting them on). Can fit plenty in 'em. Oh, got them for $100.

If you need storage every day then you need saddlebags. If you only need bags for trips I've found its easier to get a Sissy or passenger backrest to strap stuff on. I had some saddlebags but didn't like the look, made bike too wide, and hard to clean around--sold them and got a sissy bar and roll bag.

Ya I poked around ebay a bit, found a few. I do need bags, I ride to work as much as possible and tour most weekends, so bags are a definite need for next spring

Great stuff here, all kinds. Just Leather in San Jose uses them (last I heard). I had a pair on the Deuce and they were great:
