Default Saddlebag mounting screws.

I have a '07 Springer with saddlebags just like the ones in the pic.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Took them of the bike when I bought it (used) and now I'm willing to put them again for the next trip.

The bags where fixed to the bike simply by 4 screws, that is 2 each side; nothing else holded the bags to the bike. And worked.

Problem is I have lost the screws!

Can someone tell me wich kit should I buy from Harley just to put them back on?
Here in Spain we have metric system so I won't find the screws in a shop and I don't have a HD Dealer around.

Thank you !

No way to tell from the info given. Need a picture of the mounting locations and possibly the bags to tell what you have.

Couldn't you just take it over to your local hardware store and get 4 new bolts that fit? .....I'm sure it's alot cheaper than Harley.

There is a guy that makes bolts for saddlebags that have the torx security screw that will keep someone from opening up your bags and just unwrenching them out unless of course they have a torx security wrench on them (unlikely).
Not sure if he makes them for your bike but you can check out his site and see.

Go to Ace Hardware (or other hardware store) as they have chrome screws/bolts.

The ones that fit my heritage are coarse thread, 3/4 inch long (but the bag might need 1" long), and I think were 1/2 or 5/8 diameter... but I forget exactly...

They shouldn't cost more than $1.50 each for chrome and about .75 for stainless

Hey Jester! Thanks for thinking of us.
Our product is designed to replace the Harley OEM Quick Release system. If these bags use that system - our product will work great. Secures the bags but still released quickly. Can't be stolen and won't fall off.
