Just installed a new set of samson cossover headers and slip ons on my 2011 deluxe, do i need to re-map? HD dealer said i need it to get a super tuner which cost which cost $400... Ouch! Do I need to to remap or the super tuner?
There is nothing to look out for because it will not need it. The brain of the bike will adjust itself for the changed exhaust. If you change the exhaust and intake(filter) then that is too much flow increase for the computer to adjust for so then you would need a flash to increase fuel flow.
What I mean is if you have a stock air filter you can leave it as it is. It will run much cooler and better with a high flow filter and a tuner of some sort, but as it stand it is okay.
