i believe they are aftermarket beach bars...(i could be wrong though) as for who makes them i wouldn't be able to tell you because i bought the bike like that. though i just purchased the burly bikini bars to get more of a pullback so i'll be selling these bars soon.
My Bones is the 1st springer for me. I did have nemerous 5 spd 88 HD's though. Perhaps I did not know what I was missing but I did not find them "wanting" at all.
That said, I LOVE the bones, it rides GREAT and I get more complements on it than any of my previous softies. I don't get why anyone would take the awesome spring seat off though, I did change mine to the HD tractor seat however.
Get a springer you will love it (if you do not get the 05 look at the secondary bones mkt, there are a lot out there and some have already got some very cool mods. Dream Machines in Tx has/had a couple bones and if I remember right they were like 13xxx.xx with low miles.(I do not work for them).
I do love the looks of the 05 though.....
