I do alot of burnouts, and you allways get the guys that go " real smart there goes 300 bucks..... " Hey guess what I dont pay 3 bills for a tire, I also mount and balance my own ****.
I dont buy a bunch of bolt on crap and say my bike is custom. I do all my own work, NO ONE touches my bike except me.
I dont like these idiots that ride 1-3000 miles a year and have 5k invested in Harley brand gear, and believe they are tough.
I have been riding harleys since I was 16 in 78'. If you dont like what I do go **** yourself, go buy a Obama electric bike and fry in hell. I dont give a **** about your opinions or your morals, I live by my own.
Yeah granted I think those idiots that drive like ******** in traffic are dumb, but guess what all of you that criticize have done something just as dumb or worse in your life, if not, then obviously you should call the Vatican and get sainted you bitchs. FU

It's true (as I said) we've all done stupid ****, including ruining perfectly good tires, but back in my days we didn't have bikes that could run 180mph and pull wheelies in 3rd gear for the next mile through traffic with your GF on the back in panties and sandals. That's not only stupid, it's reckless endangerment. I've been riding since my first mini-bike chopper age 8 in 1964, then my Cushman, then a Yamaha 100 twin age 13, and I can do burn outs and work on my own bike too... big deal.
Well as i was merging onto the highway, i was behind a car and after we got in right lane i went to pass him on the left. Well as i got beside him, he punched it, well so do i.... now we are 45ish to 100mph. problem is that he was right beside me the whole time, believe it was a Civic. Now i know Misty aint build for speed and performance, but really???
After 90mph bike just aint got nothing left... (2 questions)
1. is that normal for a bike with stage 1?
2. what cam will fix this problem?
Ok done crying...
Stage 1......pipes and air cleaner.....what about a tune? Too lean will leave you pissed and is real hard on machinery. That motor needs to be able to flow air well and it needs the right amount of fuel and correct timing to flow that air. Tell you what, you asked for solutions so here goes. Revolution Performance EMS tuner, Cyclerama CR 575 cams, BigBoyz street port and a Cometics .030 head gasket. Stock lifters and push rods will work. Find a good wrench you trust to put it all together or do it yourself and save some $$$. Follow the EMS instructions after the build is done and prepare to whip the sh*t out of the next little turd that wants to play freakin' games in his little pocket rocket. The idea is not to be able to go so fast you get locked up for 10 years, the object is to be able to suck the paint off the doors of junior before he can blink! Quick, not fast, gets rid of little dumb asses! Stock cams suck! Hope this helps.

I see you already have a SERT so you don't need the EMS but the other stuff I posted will work.
Moving on to other issues.......what you do, when you do it, how and so forth is your f**kin' business. I like how some of these guys bitch about somebody getting hurt and then threaten violence on another man. Posers. I'm 52 years old, 8 yrs+ in the US Army and 3yrs+ in state prison and have met some serious hard core bad asses. One thing they have in common is they don't say **** except maybe a warning that your life is about change for the worse. These windy types generally get their asses kicked while they're talking about how bad they are. Takes all kinds to make a world I guess.
To be honest... not sure what gear i was in, but yeah 3rd sounds bout right. i just came around him hard then just pinned throttle. Like title says pulled good till 90ish then just.....blah!
Wish the bones had a Tach so I could see where i shift and how much i had left.
I've put this in here several times.
Dont really need a tach.
If U shift at 40, 60, 80, 100 mph, U'll be winding right at 5200 rpms..
shifting at 45,66,90,108 mph and U'll be winding her to 5800rpms
shifting at 5200 will put U right back in the power band rather than winding her out to 5800 on a stock motor when she's falling off fast.

some Andrews 37's or SE 211's will do U a good job above 3k. As will adding some 2-1 pipes and a good dyno tune.
Or Drop in some Woods 555's with above and U'll like them too.
My last bike was a 97 Heritage and I don't want to offend any Heritage owners or riders but that thing was a pig. It had a hard time getting out of it's own way let alone anyone else's! I swore I would never have another bike like that again. I don't want a racer but I don't want a pig either. The differance between my old Heritage and this Deluxe is beyond night and day. It's beyond hot and cold, there just really isn't any comparrison! So, I feel your pain and know what you are talking about. That old Heritage was done at 90, I can't wait to see what this Deluxe really has. I know what little I have ridden this bike I was all smiles and very nicely suprised!
