Well as i was merging onto the highway, i was behind a car and after we got in right lane i went to pass him on the left. Well as i got beside him, he punched it, well so do i.... now we are 45ish to 100mph. problem is that he was right beside me the whole time, believe it was a Civic. Now i know Misty aint build for speed and performance, but really???
After 90mph bike just aint got nothing left... (2 questions)
1. is that normal for a bike with stage 1?
2. what cam will fix this problem?
I trust that you did downshift into your powerband...(?) At 45 mph you should have been accelerating hard in 3rd.
To be honest... not sure what gear i was in, but yeah 3rd sounds bout right. i just came around him hard then just pinned throttle. Like title says pulled good till 90ish then just.....blah!
Wish the bones had a Tach so I could see where i shift and how much i had left.
yea cams is ehat ya need, those twincams just dont breathe good. hell my 80inch evo will will hit the ton and beyond with liitle effort. not so with my dyna twincam.

I wrote a tread last week about the very same topic. My bike had a very difficult time getting to 100mph. It is pretty disappointing
