I have an early deuce wheel(17 x 4.5 w/ a 180/60/17 SE dunlop) on my 03 train. I didnt do it so I am not really sure what was invloved. I measured the belt and its 1 1/8". Not sure if thats the stock one or not. However, everything fits and there isnt anything I have noticed wrong with it. So it can be done. However I might have about a credit cards thickness of space between the tire and the belt guards.
I have a 2009 Deluxe FLSTN. I am changeing out the rear wheel for a 2003 fatboy solid. With the baggs I run you can't see the rear wheel that well and I do almost all my ridding long distance. You can patch a tubless and get in, not a tube. Your stuck. So much for why. Now the thing is, in the shop manual it showes both spoke and solid wheels useing the same spacers. I am putting in new bearings 25mm and getting a new inner sleve/spacer. Is there anything ells that could cause a problem?
