I have an '06 FLST and love it, I can't think of many other Harleys I'd trade it for. I agree it's one of the best-looking softails Harley's made. I'd be a little worried about the mileage, that's a little too low. Bike might have been sitting around idle for too long, I'd check that out.

I ride mine on the interstate a lot. Yeah, 6th gear would be nice, but it isn't like it's essential or anything. True, Harley went with the bigger engine in '07, but a lot of Harley guys will tell you the 88 with a good Stage 1 will outrun it. I have the stage 1 on mine and I'm not lacking for power.

The more I ride this bike, the happier I am I bought it.
