07 Deuce, 1600ish miles. I still can't get the friggin' smile off of my face. All I think about is riding it. I could care less about anything else lately. Needless to say, I'm happy. No problems outside of finding a HD service department worth a crap. I'm doing my own services from now on except for major stuff where I have a good local independent guy. It did seem to run a little hot until I put the pipes, PCIII and Big Sucker on and had it dyno tuned. Runs great now. The new, updated map they have for it now probably fixes any heat issues also. I've skipped having it done on mine (so far) since I had the PCIII/dyno install. Never even noticed any gear noise folks are talking about. Going to Red Line Shockproof Heavy did make it shift better. It's not like it was shifting bad before though.

I hate it when that happens! On A different note I finally had the torque smoothing curve down loaded and I am still very happy with performance lot smoother !There is A recall on some dynas about the hanndle bars cracking by the risers! some of you guys might look into this.

Just got my 07 Softail on Christmas Eve and now have over 600 miles on it. The only thing that I have noticed that sometimes the bike will want to jump a little when I start it up.

I know what the book says about the shift range but when I shift into 6 like the book says, it feel like I am luggin the engine. Now I am shifting into 6 gear somewhere after I reach 75mph. What is everyone else doing???

with limited riding because of Winter
With that being said, I have to rub it in, we ride year around. Yesterday it was 82 degrees.

I think your about right. I don't go into 6th until at least 70 which is about 2500rpm.

I do too, 60-65 works fine on my Heritage.
