Default keeping the front straight

Hi

This question came from my first post in New Members Area, I hope this is the right place, I have bought a bike jack which leaves the front wheel and bars wobbling about, is there a proper way to stop this from happening and keep the wheel straight, straps were suggested, is there another way please,

I have tried to attach a picture, hope it works

Sure, tied-down straps or even bungees would do the job. But why do you care if the fork is flopped to the left or right?

Hi
Because It will help me when I clean it, and I am trying to get an idea of what a set of new and different handle bars would look like, I can’t find any pictures that will give me anything to go by, small apes or similar shape Z bars are what I had in mind
It’s for my Rocker C in the picture

put a case of beer on each side of the wheel, that'll keep her straight.

I tried that. The beer keeps disappearing -- which is clearly a factory defect.

I think H-D needs to man-up about all that beer that keeps disappearing on me!

It's not HD's fault. You are supposed to put a brick back in the case for each beer you take out. Geesh! I thought everbody new that.

I always put some support under both wheels when my bike is on the jack, especially if it's gonna be there for any real time. Mine are just sections of 2X10. They keep the bike steady, and take some weight off the jack.
