Bikes been running great for a couple months. Last night I installed my apes. This morning I put the gas back in it and tried to fire it up. At one point I got 2 loud backfires but will not start. Battery is charging now. Any ideas?
Have you got the fuel line hooked up? Can you hear the fuel pump kick on? Did you check all your fuses? Other than that Id say youve got the run kill switch wire pinched.
Id say you've got a pinched wire. Id start by taking the right side switch cover off and checking there if you are certain they are all connected right.
alright, one of my fuel pump wires came disconnect from the plug so I redid the plug and soldered them all in there, then I left a battery tender on it and took a nap... When I woke up, it fired on the first turn!!! Runs like a raped ape now!!
