Santo - which right side toolbox is that? I'm looking for one. Thanks man,
Nickel
Thats just a HD brand tool box, I cant remember the part number tho. You can find good deals on them on ebay. The boxes are all the same whats diffrent is the mounting bracket.
Is there different ends for Samson's....besides the 'fish thingeys'?
I think Samson's may look better when bags are off...the 4" is a bit much from other makes....but do look great with bags. Still trying to wrap my imagination on them.
Im sure Samson makes other tips, I know they make a longtail (they look like fishtails) and a strait cut not sure about any others, the one to ask would be Dr. Vtwin he would know.
I seriously considered bagging mine this winter, but just couldn't come up with the cash to do the extra parts I already had planned along with bags and new exhaust, so I will wait til next year.
Here are the bags I was looking at, they can be custom made, COMPLETELY, however you want and the price is awesome! http://www.saddlebags.net/store/p/3-...addlebags.html
And they come with the Easy Brackets quick release brackets with the purchase.
Morgan...nice find man. I already have in mind to get rid of the strap/buckles on the new RKs and modify latches. That I sure can be done locally, but if a company as per your mention makes a hard leather bag...definitely something worth to look into.
rlowride. that's a great job, those bags look really good on Ur Train.
Bags that go with the flow of the bike can really look good, if U care about looks.
If U just want storage and use them part time for trips only then just get what works and U what U want to pay.
Some bags are really $$$$.
On the De ux I've seen several around here that have Heritage Springer bags, Those with basket wave for sure go with the flow on a Lux
Well, I've been striping off all the baggage from my Heritage (including the windshield) for general riding, but any of it can be put back on in a matter of minutes, so getting a bike that comes with all that does have it's advantages..
Does anyone make a set similar to this, but not so fat? I like the low hung look to them, just don't need to carry a weeks worth of groceries around all the time.

These are the bags that the site I mentioned make! They look bad ***. I tried to post the same pic. Like I said above, these guys make their bags to order, so if you wanted to get some, but not have them as wide, I am sure they can do it for you.
