Thank you very much for your help. I dont know when he arrive in New York and how long he stays. So might be difficult to order it.

So call them direct, order and pay, have your BIL pick them up when he's there.

Thats another idea. I will see if he has a chance to pick it up. As he work as seaman he didnt have free always.

What made you decide Easy Brackets are the way to go. While they may be functional I think they make the bags stick out too far and the plate is kind of aftermarket looking.

Have you considered other options?

The plate is only on the bike when the bags are on? When the bags are off the only thing left is the small chrome bracket. Or are they different for his bike?

I decided to go for the easy brackets after reading a lot about them. Generally the feedback was very good so i decided to go for them.I like also that i can lock them when the saddlebags are on. I love my heritage but it was disturbing me that i cant just put the saddlebags off if i dont need them because if they are off i have 2 long bolts sticking out . It should look the same like on the picture from deucedog (beside a nice colour).
