I am going to go with straight 8" risers on my softail custom. I have the wild1 chubby 1-1/4" bars.
Do you think 8" risers with a 1" diamter would look like toothpicks/not right with fat bars and the front end being larger? Would a larger diameter riser have better looks to it?
I feel that the difference in diamter (1/4") will bring the attention to the risers more than anything else, just trying to hear some other opinions...
I got the drag bars. They have the middle sectioned out to a 1 inch diameter so I have to use a top clamp to cover that up.
I got the OEM top clamp so its tough to find 8" straight risers where I will be able to use that clamp...unless I could find one that has the top clamp bolts in line with eachother and not offset (if that makes sense). I have looked around google and couldn't find anything...
Plenty of risers out there but not many that will fit OEM top clamps.
Yeah I think that the ones that fit the OEM top clamp are going to be too skinny and you are not going to be happy. I had 8's on my Train before I bit the bullet and bought new cables. Crappy cell pic but you get the idea.
