Hey everyone. Want to relocate my front turn signals from the handlebars to the fork accent strip on the fork assembly on my Fat Boy. Bought a kit to do it but not crazy about it after the install. Well, the signals themselves look great but the wires from them look like crap. Is there another way to do this mod to hide all wire to give it a much more custom look? Thanks for your time and Happy New Year...
This was done on my Fat Boy before I bought it. I'm not too crazy about the wires either. I've considered the possibility of re-routing the wires but, simply haven't taken the time to research the feasibility of what I want to do.
I think there's two possible solutions.
The first one I'm going to try is routing the wire internally from the bulb holder, through the mounting post to the nacelle cover (I have a big nacelle kit). If this works, it will also require finding something to plug the hole in the bulb holder housing.
The other option would be to drill a small hole in the bottom of the mounting post and route the wire externally from the bulb holder housing to the mounting tube and to the nacelle cover.
