Well I'm down to two I really like the look of the chrome RSD turbine and the chrome Carlini high roller. I am planning on the Carlini gangster 16" apes with chrome high roller risers but feel both would look good with the set up I am building in my head right now. The RSD seems to expose more filter not sure if it flows any better, so does anyone have experience of either I have a 96 stage one right now with velocity stack..hence the reason I want to switch to a filtered intake
Flow will be be pretty much the same with either. It is more a question of what look you like better. I have the high roller risers so the high roller a/c would look great but I recently got a PM merc instead. Either one will look great.
Each one has their own unique characteristics that makes it what it is. Tough call.
It the flow is close to the same I am leaning towards the Carlini anyone know if they make a rain sock.? Thanks for everyones input. Down the road yet few years I maybe considering a engine upgrade possible 107 would either of these intakes be suitable.?
If you click on my album with the 2009 Softail Deluxe, you will see pics of the Carlini High Roller Risers/Air with the Flying Apes. SJ Ron
id love to know how you installed this on a 09 softail because I cant find one for those years and cant seem to get the only one they actually sale to bolt up.
