A manual and a floor jack are going to be your best friend here.

You don't need to take the wheel off the make sure the belt is adjusted correctly. I'm sure others will chime in on easy ways to check belt deflection

Get a manual.

Nothing complicated about rear wheel removal; it's just a PITA and a dirty job. Jack the rear end up so that the tire just clears the floor. Loosen the adjustors so you can slide the wheel forward and remove the belt from the rear pulley. Loosen and remove the axle. Remove the brake caliper and set it off to the side before you try to remove the rear wheel. Jack the bike up until you can remove the wheel from under the rear fender.

Pay attention to the sequence of washers, spacers etc. so you can put things back where they belong. Removing the wheel is a piece of cake; putting it back on is a little tougher but it is just a basic reversal of the removal process.

Once you have the wheel back on, adusting the belt is simple, just have to measure from the center of the swingarm axle to the rear axle to make sure the wheel is straight.

Get the service manual.

you dont need wheel off to align pulley,if you want to remove wheel it is straightforward but manual required for torque settings etc, have you tried google and you tube?

yeah on the manual, but even if you have one make sure you have a decent jack. a cheesy one is not the way to go. It can get a little unstable on a cheap jack once you get the axle out and start wrestling with the wheel and the higher you have to jack it for the fender clearance the worse it will get.
