Default Rear wheel removal

The manual say's you have to drop the swing arm to remove the rear wheel, is that to clear the fender anyone got an answer, its no big deal to drop the swing arm it just seems odd I'm used to softails Thanks

All you have to do is jack the bike up high enough for the swingarm to drop down far enough for the tire to clear the fender.

Lower the swingarm by dropping the shocks. This allows you to remove the drive belt without having to move the axle adjusters. It will also make it easier to replace spacers when you reinstall the wheel because you can hand lift the swingarm out of the way.

+1 as Jay said and you might want to remove the upper belt gaurd,it makes it a lot EZ'r and you will not scatch your rear pully.
