Default Rear Wheel Removal

06-09 Models
Has any one removed the rear wheel with out loosining the adjusting
bolts and been able to reinstall with out a problem.

i do it on my 03.i try not to mess with the adjusters if i dont have to

Jack the bike up till the rear wheel is just ready to lose contact with the ground. Remove the lower shock bolts. Continue to jack bike up. As it gets higher and the swing arm drops, the belt will become slack allowing you to remove the axle and slide the belt over the pulley. No need to mess with rear wheel adjustment doing it this way.

Make sure the bike is secured (strapped down) on the jack. The center of balance will sudden sfift as the rear wheel is removed.

Yeah I just did it exactly this way. I never touched the adjusters.
