If you are going to pull the topend apart you might as well go ahead and go as big as you can. Which would be a 107 kit. There's no replacement for displacement. Now if you want to go bigger then you'll have to pull the engine and get the cases bored.

I went with Harleys SE 103 stage 4 kit because it came complete and took all the guess work out of what parts would work well together. Most of the mechanics I talked to persuaded me out of a 110 because of the aditional cost of splitting the cases. If I was going bigger than 103 or 107 I'd buy a se120r.

If I were starting from scratch again, with a 96" motor, I'd go to 107". If I'd done that, it would've saved me a lot of time and $$$ making changes to squeeze more power out of it. Power is a VERY addictive drug- the more you have, the more you want! Do you have a budget for the project?

So did you start fron a 96 to a 103 and now have a 107.. if so how noticable is the difference between 103-107.?. Im sure they are both night and day over the 96

Im doing the 107" Fuelmoto kit with with their "B" head job and having the TB and manifold polished also on wifes TriGlide. Tubby needs the xtra hp/tq. , Now the 103"jugs & pistons im putting on my '09 Dyna along with a head & TB job.
If the 107" runs as strong as i think it will im gonna do it on my '07FLSTN.
If I wasnt gettin a basically free 103" upgrade for my dyna I would have gone with the 107 kit.
IMO: Go with the 107" kit.
