Default Namz Wire Extension Kit

Has anyone tried the namz wire extension kit for 2011-2012 softails? They're supposed to be plug and play. Does this mean I can unplug from the switches on the bars and extend, or do I have to extend from under the tank? Any info?

I used them on my 99 Heritage and an 02 Ultra. They all plug in at the same length, which makes a bundle that's kind of hard to feed through a set of 1" bars, but a welll made product and the colors have been right on. I just took a side cutter and crimped them a bit when I plugged them in and have no problem with either bike. I'll use em again, if that helps any.

So you're saying I'm still gonna have to mess with the tank?

You still have to mess with the tank. Slide it back out of the way and unplug the wiring. I use Novello.

Not easy, that is why they charge 6 hours labor to do them,if you don't know what you are doin don;t even try....it all depends on how much higher the bar is than what is on it...plug and play means you don't. , have to soder, its hardly plug and play

Any tips/tricks on sliding the tank? Not sure if I want to remove it completely.
