Default Raked Triple Trees

I have 2008 night train and want to get a little more rake in the front end to give it more of a chopper look. Dont want to hack uop the frame so i was curious about the raked trees. As far as i know the stock trees on the nighttrain are already 3 degrees and I was thinking of going to the 5 degree rake and want to see if this would be problem? I also realize it wont be alot different but I have to chnage the trees anyway as the chrome is peeling on the bottom stock tree and I want to go to black anyway. Plus the aftermarket makes some sick black trees with the turn signals built in so I could remove the factory lights. So has anyone put 5 degree rake on thier nighttrain and how was the ride affected? Highway and back roads? I am not a geometry wizard so the whole rake trail and what is acceptable/safe is foriegn to me.

Pretty sure stock frame is 32* and 2* trees in the train. Personally, I wouldn't go beyond 3* raked trees. JMHO.

Do a search, there are plenty of threads on here regarding the rake/trail argument. You'll likely be ok with 5* trees. Post over in the night train pic thread there's a few guys over there running the 5*.

I have been told by a local bike builder that it wuld be no problem. But i have also heard alot of stories about possible wobble at highway speeds and also making corners difficult where you can't really lean into the corner you have to actually steer. I am new to street I rode alot of dirt bikes and ATV's but dont have the knowledge that I suspect some of you do and especially if someone who owns a nighttrain has already done it.
