Hey BigT! I noticed you have a sissy bar and backrest on your new softie. Dealer here told me they would not be available because of the size of the rear fender with that 200 tire. It looks good, do you have a part #? I am looking real hard at the softail but I would have to get that backrest to get the ol' lady to come on board.

Thought about an '06 springer, but do not like the solid cookie cutter rear wheel, gotta have the old school spokes with the profile wheels, BE-u-TiF-ul. I wouldnt trade my '05 for an '06, im weary about new model years.......The whole new EFI thing is kinda scary also, let'em work it out for a year or two............

There nothing scary about EFI there Unibomber, it works well. The only thing that's scary is your user name!

Only the Screamin Eagle Fat Boy gets the 200 tire.

Naturally.. On the $30k model. Ah shucks.

I predict... 07's or 08's will have 6 speeds all around.. One can only hope.

A new bike would complain a lot less than the wife. Enjoy the ride.
Stay safe.

Yeah, I saw the 06's about a week ago. The NT does look great.

The only thing about the new Night Train I don't like is the rear wheel... I prefer the solid disc with the painted center like the one on my NT.

Cheers!
