No, the bike is not paid off. Since my last post I've got a little good news that my irs issue may not be as bad as thought. I might just have to write a check for everything in my account, lol. We haven't started anything on the legal side for the divorce but she will fight me for the kids and I will fight back so I'm expecting a long hard battle. I want to thank everybody for your thoughts and comments and rest assured I AM KEEPING my bike if at all possible.
Hang in there. Mine was just final last summer. Absolutely the most difficult thing I've even been through.........but you know what? It's all worth it in the end! I had the kids by myself for almost a yr and a half. We now split custody; something I agreed to just to make it over.
Other than the kids, all I cared about was the bike. Gave her 2 nice cars (both paid off) to keep the bike. She's since destroyed both cars (literally), pissed thru all the money and is on every dating site out there (some of you may know her).
I got the bike and the house, the kids are doing well and she can KMA! Now I write the big check every month to PB (psycho b---h as I affectionately call her)........it's worth every penny. You'll get thru it!
