Need your guys opinion here. I currently have a set of 39" true dual cholos on my deluxe. When they were ordered, didn't realize I ordered the ones with baffles in them until I got them on and started riding. Obviously too late to exchange. My question is, would it be worth it to sell just the mufflers and by a set without the baffles? Then, if I do that not sure if I should stick with the 39s or go down to the 36s or 33s. Thoughts?

why would you go down in size? i started off with the 33's baffled, then i went to the 42" non-baffled and let me tell you what a difference in sound especially when accelerating and especially decelerating. If you don't think the baffled ones are loud enough then IMO, no question sell the 39's and get the non-baffled.
I've seen others sell off (normally for a loss obviously) just the shorter mufflers, to go longer. Never seen anyone go shorter. But it's what you want, it's your bike.
You may want to do a search of the classifieds on here, I just seen a couple older listing that went from $175 to $300. Check with Samsons and see what the new mufflers are going to cost you and see where your at and how much your going to need maybe?
i bought it directly from samson and paid $360 for the 42". I just checked the website and they are still listed at that price. Expect to pay that and whatever they charge for shipping. Since your mufflers are practically new you should be able to price them higher then normal.
I had the same problem. I originally ordered 28s non baffled. Like most they weren't long enough so I switched to 39s non baffled and low and behold the 28s were baffled. I never looked. Night and day difference between the two. I love the unbaffled. While your at I
t find someone to buy my 28s as well! Lol
