Default Lowered Fatboy

Lowered my Fatboy with the Blazing Bikes kit the other day and thought I would post some pics. Took about an hour to install and lowered the bike a little over a 1 1/2". The ride feels the same as stock to me. Good product if anyone is considering the kit.

Thanks guys. It's a D&D Fatcat pipe. Good performing pipe, you won't regret it. I had Rush slip ons before I installed the 2-1 and the difference seat of the pants is huge. So far no scraping, but I don't have much ride time since I lowered it.

Looks great! Seems you and me are on the same page. I just posted up pics of my buddy's Fatboy that we spent the afternoon lowering. We used the lowering bolts. Not sure how your kit works, but if its the same principle, that cool. Its really amazing, after seeing the before and after pics of both bikes, its truly baffling that the MOCO doesn't do this from the factory. Both bikes look just plain wrong without the lowering kit and just perfect with it installed. Such a simple thing, really.

edit: youngneg, I can't speak for the O/P, but we just did a similar kit to an '09 Fatboy. He did notice that the boards scraped a "little bit sooner", but not nearly as much as he expected. And he was still able to lean the bike reasonably far in the corners and off ramps.
