Default Auto compression relieve valves.

Just got a Stage IV done on my motor and I had these installed. It helps for easy starts. When I turn the Ignition switch on you hear these clunk in place. My question is ( yeah it's a dumb question ) will it hurt these if I turn the ignition on and hear the clunk and Not start the bike ?

Wondering if they will eventually get stuck open ?

I was playing with my combo speedo - tach yesterday and I heard the clunk but didn't start the bike and now I'm at work and Im thinking I shouldn't do that maybe ?

I have them too and have never had any issues. From what I was told, they run through their cycle when you turn the ignition on, but they run off your starter button. When you hit the starter they open, when you let go they close. Someone feel free to correct me on that, but either way, I'm sure you're fine.
