I'm 5'6", have had rotator cuff surgeries on both shoulders, and think mild apes would help my shoulder problem on long rides. 10" too high? Would want shoulder height. These would be for a '10 Fat Bob.

I'm also thinking about grabbing a pair of the 10" evil apes with some 1-1.5" risers. I currently have a stock Deuce set-up. Do you guys think I'll need to get a longer wiring kit with such a little step up?

The deuce has pretty wide handlebars and a stock 6" riser.

14's. I'm 511 and they're perfect. once i switched, it rid all the numbness from my arms hands or shoulder pain. The seat was a different story. good luck.

I have 14" pist apes which are very similar to evil, just the bend goes the other way. I am 5'9" or 5'10". My hands are slightly above my shoulders. I would go with the 14's.

14", 1.5" Gangsters with their 1.5" bra riser on my Deluxe. I'm 5'10" with shoulder, back and tailbone issues and they are a tad above my shoulders. One of the best things I did for myself and ride comfort, no more pain.

I have the same setup on my Train. My back no longer hurts, no numbness in my hands, and the handling with the 41" wide bars is so much better. I can turn the bike around on a dime. I'm sitting on a LePera Bare bones seat for the time being. The bars are just above my shoulders. The 14's feel amazing but if they made 12's I would have considered them, strictly for legality reasons. Fortunately for me the fuzz around here doesn't break ***** too bad for ape height.
