i just picked up a 2011 deluxe about a month ago, and today i just purchased the 39"cholos unbaffled from samson. my question is will i be able to install in my garage, is it easy enough for someone with little mechanical experiance?

Shouldn't be difficult to install. Swapping out pipes is pretty straight forward. Just make sure you have everything tight and no leaks.

Just take your time, it's pretty straightforward. Install the entire system before tighten everything up. On the heat shields I installed the clampd with the screw heads down and tightened from underneath. Just seemed a little cleaner by letting me hide the clamp bolts more under the pipe.

Mines an 06 and I believe on the 07 and newer there may be additional steps involving the seat post support bar and coil. Not sure but you can probably review the instructions online while your waiting on the pipes to ship.

The only time consuming part is the new seat post that is included in the kit. I had to do a little tweaking to mine because when I mounted my coil to it, the chrome coil cover was touching the oil tank.

you may want to do the DIY mod that creates back pressure or what ever it is so you don't lose torque

What is the dyi mod, do you loose a lot of torque?

he could be talking about baffles, lolly pops, tq cones... ?
