Decel pops are getting worse! I've checked my exhaust flange nuts...they're tight! In fact, I was having issues with the nuts backing off. I used loctite, and they haven't budged at all. It's happening at certain speeds in certain gears. If I roll off the throttle in 2nd at around 30MPH when it hits 25MPH the decel pops begin then dicipate below 20mph. If I roll off the throttle in 3rd at around 40MPH, the decel pops start at 35MPH then dicipate below 30. In 4th gear if I reach 50mph then roll off the throttle, the pops start around 45mph. In 5th, when I reach 60 and roll off, it happens around 55mph. Can't figure it out, and it's annoying the **** out of me. None of the guys that I ride with seem to have this issue...JUST ME! Friggin frustrated...can anyone please lend a suggestion? I swapped out the plugs today for Sh*ts and giggles...no luck.
I found a guy here in Jersey (Joey) at Custom & Performance Cycle Center who is a Dynojet Approved Power Commander Tuning Center. He will run the bike free of charge to see what it's doing. He said he's seen a lot of intake leaks recently. He'll look the bike over, run it on the dyno, and take it from there. IF, it needs tuning, he says it's $250. At this point in time, I'd pay anything to have the problem corrected and a map specifically created for my exact setup.
