Got home from work..let the bike cool down and then started to check every bolt I could think of, intake/exhaust, to see if they were loose. I found that my two banjo bolts for my breather tube vent kit (cylinder heads) were loose and the plastic washers were effed. I took off the plastic washers and replaced them with steel ones and gorilla torqued the crap out of the banjo bolts. With the bolts being loose, and the washers blown, could that have caused an air leak back into the system?
No such luck with banjo breather bolts...still popping. I'm trying to remember...I may have added the "newer" pipes after the Stage 1 download. Could that cause the decel popping issue?
Just shaking my head here...actually scratching it....in a post from last year, I was having the exact same issue with decel pops...took it to the dealer, they "installed" the stage 1 download...and it was still popping. With the Vance & Hines, it's still doing the same thing. I may have to bite the bullet and drop $250 on a map specifically dyno'd for my bike.

I've checked my exhaust flange nuts...they're tight! In fact, I was having issues with the nuts backing off. I used loctite, and they haven't budged at all.
Just a thought; since you said you were having issues with the nuts backing off, maybe one of the flange gaskets got burnt and is not sealing properly now, even though the nuts are tight?
Since you said the popping got gradually worse, I wouldn't rule out an exhaust leak yet just because the nuts are tight.
I'm gonna pick up the SE performace gaskets and give those a try....just seems odd that it was doing it before and after the newer pipes. I used the stock crush gaskets.
Yeah, I've read suggestions not to use the SE tapered gaskets. Just get the stockers, or some Cometic square gaskets and you should be fine. Then work with someone to refine your PC III map and you should be golden.
