A year ago this Sunday one of our freinds here in town was killed on his bike. A young girl on a cell phone pulled out right in front of him, he didn't even have the chance to hit his brakes. Having said that we all went out for a ride the other day and to a park in his memory, those without bikes went in cars. We all like good remarks, observations and compliments about our bikes but one of the best I ever had was that with the tint I have on my aux. lights, they make me so much more visable to everyone else out on the road!!! I had put it on because I thought they looked cool like that and to prevent rocks or road debris hitting and or chipping my lights. I never thought that they would make me more visable but I will take that for sure! I am told that when I have the lights on that they even light me up that much more and makes it almost impossible to miss me!! I will take that too!!! It was inexpensive and fairly easy to do. I did the 2 small ones myself in a snap, I had to have my Son help me put the 6% smoke tint on my headlight. It was a little bit harder. I will take "SAFE" and "VISABLE" any day over anything else, even cool!!!
