Hello everybody have a question I have a 07 fatboy n I wanted to see if I can install a 2010 streetglide gas tank on it I like the clean look of it or is it a dumb question
Can you mount it? or Can you just bolt it on? Two seriously different questions. The tank will not just fall on your frame and bolt up, as stated above, you have to consider where your speedo / console is going to go, you will need to either modify the new tank with a bolt mount and then modify the profile of the console or you would need to handlebar mount the speedo, or just do without but then there is the question of the other indicators and ignition switch. It can be done, hell with a little work, anything can be done.
I think it would be too involved to be worth it. Too many different factors to consider. Not like the old days when you could put a Sporty tank on an FLH in an hour.
