Going to wait.
I have been reading through the treads, and appreciate all the replies; it seems to me that there are hardly any issues with the new 6-speed trannys in the Fatboys.
So my question is: Is the tranny in the 2007 Classic Ultra, which seems to be having the most problems different than what’s in the 2007 Fatboy? Are they not both the same new 6-speed tranny?[sm=confused06.gif]
Thanks
4500 miles since Aug and no problems, no noise, no heat! 07 Deuce runs great with new pipes, air and SERT w/o Dyno. Don't put it off, enjoy now, BEFORE that piece of plaque comes loose in your artery and slams into that heart valve !!!

I have read where some of the owners say the noise only shows up once the bike is fully warmed up and it is a warmer day. So if you take a short test ride on a bagger when it is not very warm outside the noise will not occur.

I have had no problems at all. I don't know what these people are talking about. No heat issues, tranny noise or shifting issues at all. The steering is balanced and very responsive. And this is coming from a Honda Race bike.
