Default ? on installing hand grips

I'm looking to replace my handgrips on my fatboy. I have searched this site, and the holy youtube. I can not find how to install them. Should I just take em to the shop or is this an easy mod. Let me know your opinion, plus pics of your grips.

It's pretty straightforward, just a bit of a PITA. Hardest part is not losing the little brass ferrules at the end of the cables. Pick up a couple extras when you buy the grips.

It's not bad at all. You have to cut off your old grip on the left side typically, but the right slides off. The right is definitely the more difficult (although not hard) given the throttle cables.

And this one will help you lubricate and adjust the cables after youve installed your new grips:

Easy stuff.......just take your time.

I'd like to add that when you reinstall the hand controls, which "clamshell" over the inboard grip ends, be mighty careful that the wires are in the proper position so as not to get pinched. This will equal a short in your system, blowing the accessory fuse, most likely. Ask me how I know this....
