When you get one, you'll wonder why it took you so long.

Mine is run along the left side of the battery, down the upper portion of the swingarm. Always done it that way (3 bikes) since that is the way I pull them into the garage.

I also got a cig lighter plug from Powerlet so I could charge my cellphone in the saddlebag.

Yea buddy, keeping the body core warm during those 30s and 40 degree rides if nothing creates a psychological effect that warms the rest of the body. lol The OL has the gloves too but I haven't shelled out the coin for myself...yet.

I will tell you where not to put it. My dealer installed mine on the CVO right under the seat along the frame where it meets the tank. It had enough play that it started to rub against the rear of the tank and darn near put a hole in the top coat before I caught it.

I have no idea why they did that as it was going to make contact with the tank or the valve cover at some point. Mine may not have enough slack to run it to the rear as others have suggested, but if it does, I will go that route and attach it to the left swingarm.
