Default Battery Tender Wire Location ?

I tried to search for this but the only good answers I could find were for Dynas which said to put it behind the battery cover which won't work too well on my softail. Anyway, I have an '06 Heritage Softail (FLSTi). I am installing a battery tender pigtail and would like your advice on where to locate the plug end of the pigtail and where to route the wiring. I would like it to not get damaged from the heat of the heads or pipes, be accessible for plugging in to the tender, but not be too conspicuous so it doesn't look bad. Thanks, in advance, for any ideas and pictures you can offer.

G'day,

Vinish

Don't know the part names but bear with me. I ran the wire out the right side and zip tied it to the upper swingarm? (heavy beam type rod that runs from under the seat to the top of the rear axle.) just in front of the saddlebag. You can't see it unless you are really looking for it and it is real easy to access.

I also got a cig lighter plug from Powerlet so I could charge my cellphone in the saddlebag.

Both my 09 and my g/f's 07 Fatboy have them run to the left side, zip tied to the upper swing arm. Easy to get to, not very noticeable, and if you put a solo bag on it pretty much disappears.

I ran mine down right side of battery, then over the top of starter and down behind the brake line and it is pretty unobtrusive. With the brake and oil lines down there, hardly notice it. Don't know if I can get a pic of this, but will try 2moro in the sunlight.

I ran mine along the left side mid frame and zipped it off there. It tucks nicely behind the coil cover out of sight. It makes it handy for plugging in my electric jacket liner. What can I say, I'm getting old.

Electric jacket liner, eh? Now that's an idea...

Here's my solution, for what its worth. Over the starter. Behind the brake line. Easy to get to. Out of the way.
