I know this question has been asked multiple times in some imbedded thread regarding switching bars so pardon me....
Currently, I'm running Burly Beach Bars and for one reason or the other, I've been debating on switching over to 14" Carlini Gangsters. Why? Most likely because I'm bored or and idiot or both... Haha!! Heck, I've only had my Beach Bars less than 6months and I want to switch?? SMH!!! Don't get me wrong, I love the look and feel of the Beach bars but I guess I'm after a more aggressive profile when riding! For those who haves Apes, can somewhat agree!
A big factor of switching to Apes would be the replacement of cables, so my question is and you already know would be...can I use my existing cables or would I most likely need to purchase a new set? UGH!!!! Labor cost is what I'm trying to avoid.
Try calling http://www.magnumshielding.com. They have a vast database and experienced staff. Most likely they will know the proper lengths for your desired set up.
JD... I must agree with you!! I doubt I'll be sorry, but my wallet will be sorry knowing that I would have to pay $$$ for wiring up the new cables. This is what I was trying to avoid since I only had my Beach bars 6Months ago. UGH!!
OLongApo1...I'll give them a call. Thanks.
NC...Wiring extensions? Why would I need cable extensions when it seems like I'll be needing new cables? Bars (Carlini 'SlickBacks') in my sig are long gone. Actually, my sig is OLD. HAHAH! It's totally different now.
